Given the right motivation and impetus, universities may incorporate the issue of child sexual abuse into their agenda. By capitalizing on existing school-based activities stairway empowers students to take action against child sexual abuse and perhaps play a better role in supporting those who have suffered its effects. Stairway takes advantage of events such as Women and Children's Month or International Day for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse to mobilize activities at universities. Stairway's work with Universidad de Manila, De La Salle University-College of Saint Benilde, and the International School of Manila include screenings of Stairway animations and theatre performances.
