Pulitzer prize winning photographer, Carolyn Cole, will hold her exhibition, "Into the Light, Sexually Exploited Children on the Path to Restoration," for a one night show on November 20th at the Helen Mills Event Space in New York City.

Award Winning Photographer Visits Stairway
Carolyn Cole is a multi-award winning photographer from the United States. She visited Stairway on her tour of South East Asia where she has been photographing children in hopeful situations. Carol plans to exhibit her "images of hope" in Washington, DC and New York.
The project is an initiative of Love 146 (formerly Justice for Children International). It is being sponsored by the Swiss watch maker Baume and Mercier.

Stairway Treasure Hunt '08
Donned in colorful costumes and painted faces, the Defenders of the Plant, a.k.a. Stairway kids, headed out on their quest to protect the environment from villains who were bent on destroying the planet. An event-filled day with challenging obstacles and brain-teasers ended with an all-out water battle between the Defenders of the Planet against the villains.

Stairway in collaboration with UNICEF adds an innovative dimension to our ongoing campaign against child sexual abuse and exploitation. The "Cracked Mirrors" theatre presentation and the animated film series, "Daughter" and a "Good Boy," will be presented to thousands of students, teachers, care givers and law enforcers around the Philippines.
