Stairway Treasure Hunt '08
Donned in colorful costumes and painted faces, the Defenders of the Plant, a.k.a. Stairway kids, headed out on their quest to protect the environment from villains who were bent on destroying the planet. An event-filled day with challenging obstacles and brain-teasers ended with an all-out water battle between the Defenders of the Planet against the villains.
Break the Silence! Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation
Stairway in collaboration with UNICEF adds an innovative dimension to our ongoing campaign against child sexual abuse and exploitation. The "Cracked Mirrors" theatre presentation and the animated film series, "Daughter" and a "Good Boy," will be presented to thousands of students, teachers, care givers and law enforcers around the Philippines.

Our Role in Prevention Efforts
As a result of working directly with children for years, Stairway realized a great number of children in its program had been victims of some form of child sexual abuse and exploitation. Currently, SFI trains thousands of teachers, social workers, law enforcement agents, church people, organizations and parents in an attempt to promote personal safety programs in schools, churches and communities. The workshops are creative, interactive and uses the animated film features, "Daughter" and "A Good Boy" as a mode of presentation. Read more »
