Top Ten Reasons You Need a New Web Site 

How old is your web site? Is it gathering dust? Maybe it’s time for a re-design, but how will you know?

Here’s some hints:

1. Your site is in frames. Frames although seemed like a good idea for content management became an even bigger accessiblility issue down the road.

2. You have an animated gif of an animal running around your web site. Perhaps the Hampster Dance was the inspiration at the time.


3. Scrolling text Marquee was a great effect in 1998, but just lame today.

4. Your web host requires banner advertising on your site.

5. Your site takes 48 years to load.

6. Your logo is made from clipart.

7. Bee Gees' “Staying Alive” midi plays in the background when your page is loaded.

8. You have an under construction page that has been “under construction” for quite a long long time.

9.You use a hit counter.

10. When your site was last updated the tv show “Friends” was still on the air.
